3D Photography

With specialist in-house equipment, Digits2Widgets is able to provide clients with 3D surface imaging technology to obtain 3D digital photographs.  This advanced equipment makes it possible to capture, in three dimensions, the life and energy of a person or an object at a given moment in time and then digitise the resulting data.  Sophisticated software can then convert this digital data into a 3D CAD model that can subsequently be altered or directly printed in 3D.

At D2W, this method of digital data capture has inspired a novel and truly personalised range of applications in the Jewellery and Art worlds in conjunction with 3D Printing techniques, which exactly replicate the captured moment in time.  The "Kissed Ring" is just one example of how 3D Photography, 3D CAD and 3D Printing can be integrated to produce a wholly original product.
