Nylon SLS print of NASA moon data file.

The Lunar Globe is a study globe of the Earth’s Moon using Nasa’s latest topographic data. The data was used to rebuild the Moon as a 3D file and use 3D printing technique to then mould it and create casts in resin. The globe is a 1/20 million scaled replica of the Moon featuring all its bumps and craters. A light source is rotating in real time around the globe, casting the exact same path and shadows as on the Moon above our heads.
